Performances

For many years I created enormous, multi-disciplinary performances featuring, at times, hundreds of collaborators. Most often, though not always, this was in my role as Lead Artist + Co Founder of New Orleans Airlift (2009-2022). The works explored many subjects - histories, folkloric practices, social issues - but they were always about human connection at their core. The work seeded countless ongoing relationships across wildly different communities and individuals. It also seeded an artistic institution, Music Box Village, that is now being carried forward by others.
